As part of the 10-year commemoration of the Movement for Black Lives (M4BL), the Storytelling Project celebrates the voices, experiences, and strategies that have shaped a decade of Black liberation organizing.
Partnering with Murmur Collaborative, M4BL has embarked on a mission to document powerful stories through interviews, story circles, and written reflections. These narratives serve dual purposes: for internal audiences, they foster belonging, morale, and critical learning from the movement’s wins and challenges. For external audiences, they amplify the role of movement builders, counter disinformation, and inspire action for justice.
This project reflects M4BL’s commitment to memory-keeping as an act of resistance. By documenting these histories, M4BL strengthens the foundation for future organizing and holds space for the lessons and legacies of today’s liberation work.
